Sawmill/Lumberyard  

Smith Lumber Company was a place where many men worked for years. It was later purchased by Herman Keeton in the 1960’s. Shown here is the original steam whistle that blew in the morning, at lunch, and in the afternoon when work was finished. The wall safe door from Smith Lumber Co. is on display along with other items used at the sawmill.
