Red Bay Depot
The Red Bay train depot was a busy place in town for many years. A railroad motor car used to carry workers up and down the railroad in this area is on display. Even though the depot burned in the 1990’s, several items were saved in other locations, including two signs and the benches used in the waiting rooms. A display case with smaller railroad items includes items found along the railroad track and depot and telegraph equipment. Other items original to the depot are a cart, scales, the ticket sales counter, and a wooden ticket holder.
