The museum is open Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1:30 – 4:00 PM and by appointment. You may also visit the museum on Fridays from 8:00 – 4:00 by entering through the Civitan Thriftstore. The museum is free to enter but donations are accepted. 

There are several Red Bay items for sale at the museum, including Red Bay Dirt Shirts dyed with red clay (Red Bay's namesake) and ornaments featuring local landmarks.  Next door to the museum is the Red Bay Depot and Red Bay’s thrift store, which is open on each Friday from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM. The proceeds from the store help to keep up the museum and pay utility bills, as well as helping with other projects in Red Bay.
