General Merchandise Stores

There were several general merchandise stores or dry good stores located in Red Bay at different times. One was the Feldman’s Store, which was owned and operated by a Jewish family. Other stores included Tiffin Brothers Store (and later a store by their nephew Alex Tiffin), Naber’s, McKinney’s Grocery, Epps Store, and Waldrep. The Waldrep store also housed the post office for many years.
