City of Red Bay and Utilities
From the City of Red Bay display you will pass by a jail door and then see one of the limestone entrances to the first city hall, which was lost to fire. The limestone is from a local Franklin County quarry. Franklin Electric, the electric co-op, is represented by the power poles with the climbing ladder that workers had to use before the bucket lift trucks. Items from the Bay Plaza Motel are in this exhibit as well.
