Bay Theatre

The Bay Theatre was a popular entertainment venue for many years in Red Bay. You will see the original ticket window at the entrance to the exhibit. Inside the display you will see theater chairs, ceiling light fixtures, and the player piano used when it first opened and there were only silent movies. The theater also had a stage in front of the screen where traveling musicians and vaudeville acts would perform. Included are advertising bills mailed out each month which showed the movies being played as well as the local business ads.
